When his situation deteriorated, he worked as a manager in a construction company, manipulated the company's accounts and embezzled large sums. His daughter, Fatmah, came to know the company owner's son, Hasan, without knowing who he was and they agreed to marry, while her father was caught by the company's manager while stealing money from the treasury. The manager tries to report that to the police but Fadhel tries to stop him by hitting him, thinking that he is dead. He escapes and takes refuge in the house of a dancer to hide in it.
