Charlie finds Nellie crying and endeavors to console her. The butler, mistaking his intentions, informs Mrs. Huff, who sees her husband consoling Nellie. Mrs. Huff's worst fault is jealousy. How to get even with hubby? She compels the butler to make love to her, arranging the time so that Huff will see it. Huff discovers them and becomes furious. He goes to Nellie and tells her of his plan. He will be making love to her when Mrs. Huff enters; Mrs. Huff is huffed for fair when she sees them; she goes for Nellie with both hands and Huff gets the worst of it. Then a bright idea comes to him. He goes to Hoboken and wires his wife that her husband has been hit by an automobile. Mrs. Huff is wise and she wires back, "I hope the auto was not hurt."
