However when it becomes apparent that her American lover lapses into the same pattern as her husband, her dream starts to change into a nightmare. Again she allows herself to be belittled and humiliated. When at last she brings her relationship with Tony to a violent end, the question arises how she should end her Dutch marriage. See less
