Carrie's surgery goes well and they should know in about a month if it was successful. Brian's dad is still at large with the company funds and the IRS has seized all company property...including Bridgit's condo. Two weeks later Birdgit and Brian are living together and driving each other crazy. Brian accepts a job as building manager at the apartment which infuriates Bridgit and two 'Hey Jimmys' move in downstairs. Dave moves out of Brian's and eventually works out a compatible arrangement with Deena regarding moving back in and Nicole tries to return to work but finds she no longer has anything in common with her coworkers.
