Jakob is the complete opposite of the modest, meticulous Pirmin, whom Julia mourns. Jakob knows about his charm and lets everyone know that he successfully worked undercover in Frankfurt am Main. Julia finds this scary. Mechthild, on the other hand, says "wonderful" and is happy to rent the smart guy the granny flat in her house.
