As a 14-year-old, she secretly and at risk of death wrote down her dramatic experiences during the Holocaust on 54 cards in a weapons factory. It is a unique document that describes the horrors of the persecution of the Jews from the perspective of a young girl. Sheindi's struggle for survival begins with her deportation in 1944 from the then Hungarian Galanta to the Auschwitz extermination camp. There she experiences the unimaginable horror, also meets the "angel of death", the camp doctor Dr. Josef Mengele. After all, she is used as a forced laborer in a German arms factory.
