Sofia, earnest and compassionate, is perennially in the shadow of the narcissistic Amandine and their unhealthy friendship is put to the test when Amandine runs into a handsome Portuguese artist, Guilherme, at a party. The chance encounter causes the two girls to go their separate ways: Amandine spends the weekend trying to wrap Guilherme around her little finger whilst obsessing over her ex- boyfriend Fabien; Sofia, finding herself alone in Lisbon, wonders through the city aimlessly fretting over Amandine's whereabouts.
