But I just wanted to share a few quick phone snaps I just took of the living room (because sometimes off the cuff shots are the best, right?) before it was too late to post Christmas decs So happy with the makeover of this room and even happier I managed to get it done, just in time for 🎅 We’re currently all sat on the sofa watching Home Alone and it’s just the Christmassiest space ✨🎄 To transform the room from a white box to this we: ✨ Built a faux chimney breast ✨ Tiled a hearth and added a fire surround ✨ Inserted a bioethanol burner ✨ Built alcove cupboards and shelves from @jalidesign ✨ Painted the walls and woodwork in Edward Bulmer Lilac Pink ✨ Added @pookylights wall lights I still want to add coving and more accessories bu

Holly Woodcock on Instagram: "Soooo pleased with how the living room has turned out now we’ve finished building the alcove cupboards A bit more info on them as I’ve had so many replies to my stories asking for more… ✨ They’re from @jalidesign and are made bespoke ✨ I used the Jali online design tool to design both - it’s so easy (and fun!) to use and you can design pretty much any piece of furniture for any space, either built in or standalone ✨ It’s as easy as following the (clear) instructions to build (as easy as Ikea furniture) and then fixing to the wall, caulking and painting to finish ✨ I can’t stress enough however how important accurate measuring is though. We measured incorrectly and were out by only a couple of mm but it meant everything was too big for the space and we had t
