Started as a journalist in Naples,his native town.Moved to Milano&turned to photojournalism.Made many reportages for prestigious italian&international magazines(ParisMatch,NationalGeographic,The Stern).The 1st director of Foto Italia.Documented the birth of italian fashion(young stylist in their ateliers,models on the streets).Portrayed the Italian cultural life(series of "photo-tales" dedicated to them)&ordinary people living through the after-war years(about 200.000 snaps).Made documents fot tv RAI(news surveys,art reportages:museums,architecture).Cooperate with specialized publishers(De Agostini).Started his own publishing house(guides to italian museums).Lately worked with daughter Isabella at the digitalisation of the own huge archives.
