Replica Turkey Vulture Skull
The turkey vulture ranges throughout much of the United States and Mexico. Outwardly, this large bird may resemble a hawk or eagle, but has been recently re-classified as a member of the stork family. The turkey vulture feeds primarily on carrion but may occasionally catch small prey. A wounded turkey vulture may vomit on would-be predators as a defensive deterrent. Specifications: Skull Length: 9.5cm (3.7in) Origin: North and South America
