Have you ever tried this fun sensory recipe before? ✨ ➡️Follow @lovebloomlearn for more easy play ideas! 🧚‍♀️ To recreate this activity, add a few cups of flour to a tray (measurements will depend on the size of the tray), grate orange chalk (or coloured powder), mix, and then slowly add cooking oil (or baby oil). The colour will darken as you add the oil. *You want the mixture to be crumbly and form a ball. Sprinkle some pumpkin spice, cinnamon sticks and fall-inspired cookie cutters. We also added some aluminum pie trays and spoons. Have fun! 🍎 👶🏼👶🏽👶🏾Activity is recommended for toddlers and preschoolers +. An adult should supervise all activities. ✨🌈For more easy play ideas, check out my “Baby and Toddler Caregiver Play & Milestone guides.” It’s loaded with tips, milestones & play ideas! 🔗Link in bio. • • • #messyplay #messyplaytime #messyplayideas #tastesafesensoryplay #toddlerplayideas #toddlerplay #preschoolactivity #preschoolactivities #sensoryplaytime #sensoryplaytolearn | Desiree Blanchard, M.H.K | Baby & Toddler Play | bbno$ · edamame

So I wanted to share some fun ways to incorporate them into sensory bins. Also I say this every time but it’s important to reiterate- sensory play is a supervised activity especially with small parts. I always am on hand next to my toddler while she explores the bins and she’s had 1.5 years of sensory play experience so she knows what to do and what not to do (though she is 2.5 so I always monitor because toddler…). If you feel like any of the bases are not for you, I always recommend trading them out for things like crushed cereal, rice, pluffle, kinetic sand etc. These are all just ideas and you do not have to do them if they dont fit your family! 1. Pumpkin Patch- this is a fun way to incorporate those little pumpkins we picked up and my toddler’s favorite toys- her little people. You can do color matching and sorting with the pumpkins or counting! 2. Feed the squirrel- this is a fun activity to work on both fine motor skills and counting- plus you can even have kids match the leaves by color! My toddler didn’t care about any of that and just wanted to feed the squirrel. (Pro tip- cut a flap in the bottom of the box so your toddler can independently empty the box) 3. Spooky potion- occasionally the dollar tree has cauldrons and whenever you see them GRAB them because they’re so fun for water and dry sensory play. I also wanted to show a fun way to use the bones in sensory play. Older kids can work with the recipe cards while younger kids would need modeling to show them what to do and how to count. This is a great way for toddlers to work on counting and one to one correspondence through play. #toddlers #toddlersensory #toddleractivities #toddleractivity #toddlerdevelopment #finemotorskills #finemotoractivity #sensoryplay #sensoryplayideas #sensory #dollartreediy #asmr #asmrvideo #dollartreefinds | Celena Kinsey | celenakinsey · Original audio
