Falmed - Stanisław Faliszewski on Instagram: "Several ways to support the little one in ball games and encourage them - it’s all about associating the ball with times of closeness, relaxation, joy, and providing the stimuli the little one needs 👼! You can start ball exercises as early as 3 months old! They’re fantastic ❤️😍! They strengthen the stomach and torso, normalize muscle tension! They help with head control and rotation, support low and high support! They correct asymmetry and establish symmetry! They prepare the little one for more challenging tasks in the third quarter - tripod support, sitting, crawling, kneeling! If you play ball exercises - let us know in the comments 😁! #baby #momtobe #givingbirth #givingbirthinuk #ballexercises #asymmetry #lowsupport #
Rebecca C. Perez | Pediatric Physical Therapist on Instagram: "Challenge your baby's visual system! This activity helps improve scanning and tracking by having them follow high-contrast images. This can be done while they're in different positions like laying down, sitting up, and during tummy time. For a 0-3 month old baby, hold a high-contrast image (think black and white patterns) about 8-12 inches from their face. For older babies, you can use brightly colored toys or rattles. Slowly move it from one side of their face to the other side. Watch as your baby follows it with their eyes. This helps strengthen their eye muscles and improves their ability to track moving objects. You can also use this to your advantage if they have a head turning preference! Hold it to their less prefe
Maria Schultz Appelt on Instagram: "Babies get the best possible start on their motor development journey if we make sure to offer them varied movement and positioning from the very beginning. I think most parents know that it’s important for babies to get lots of tummy time and to lie on the back and lift their legs. But it’s actually also really beneficial for both muscular and neurological development to practice side lying play every day. Positional variation is key! In this short reel I show you how you can gently help your baby lie on the side. The babies in the video are 7 weeks, 3 months and 4,5 months. I’m planning future content these days, so will you please help me out by answering one question: How old is your child now? 🤍 With love, Maria ♥️ Your BabyPT from Denmark ?

Yasmin Hathorn | Lifestyle Blog As A New Mom on Instagram: "I recently posted a video that did very well about a car ride hack I found to get my baby to stop crying in the car!! I wanted to share another hack I’ve been doing that works just as well. Moral of the story is you need to get them distracted so they don’t cry in the car, which can be very hard to do when you’re alone! Let me know if you try putting a crinkle book by their feet or if you put anything else that they can kick and entertain themselves with ! Would love for you all to share ideas with me as well! #carrideswithbaby #babycarseat #babycarrides #momtips #babytips #4monthold #babytoys"

Jenny Mueller | Boy Mom | Teacher & Nanny on Instagram: "Here’s some fun ideas to do with your baby with your plastic Easter eggs that may be lying around your house this time of year! 🐰 1. Water Play- babies LOVE water and any chance to splash around. Adding in the Easter eggs helps practice their grabbing! 2. Egg Pull- Grab your painters tape and stick the eggs to the wall! My little guy loved trying to pull them off the wall. I also had him army crawl to the eggs that were hanging and he loved that. 3. Muffin Tin Play- This is fun to spin the eggs around in, practice grabbing, etc. 4. High Chair Play- You can tape the eggs opened up or whole onto their tray. It was a perfect activity for when I was cooking! Give them a try with your little one and let me know what you think!!
Falmed - Stanisław Faliszewski on Instagram: "Mom dad! Quadruple crawling is difficult for me, but with your help I will definitely succeed 😁! ☝️ Quadruple crawling puts a lot of wear and tear on your little one than any previous experience he’s had. 4 points of support, action to support the knees, normalize the muscle tone level throughout the body. 👼 You often write to us that the little one gets on all fours, rocks and cannot move. Or it crawls, gets into the high support, but doesn’t want to quadruple crawl. This exercise will definitely help you. 👉 It’s important to encourage your little one to rock in the front and rear, ending with sitting on the heels and stimulating sensation by stroking them back - it tones and normalizes muscle tension Level and consolidating the posi

Erin Prince | Motherhood & Lifestyle on Instagram: "with my first baby, I watched the clock like a hawk, I was so paranoid about her eating every two hours on the dot and if she didn’t I would start to spiral. I logged everything and it actually made me feel insane. I met with a lactation consultant during one of her first month appointments and explained the stress I felt over her eating enough and here’s what she told me during that feeding session: “a good way to know your baby is satisfied while nursing is when she unclenches her fists” and from that day forward, I ditched the clock and the timings and everything that made me more stressed than I needed to be. I fed on demand by her cues and I would feel peace whenever I’d see her body melt into mine and her sweet fists would begin t
