Baluchori Saree

Baluchori depicts scenes from Indian mythology mainly from the Mahabharata and Ramayana through intricate and exquisite hand weaving on its large pallu and borders. There are three variations of Baluchori – viz. Only with silk threads, With silk threads and Meenakari work to highlight the design and finally “Swarnachori” which has gold and silver threads along with silk threads.
