how long have you been on tumblr? and is it too late to start a tumblr blog?

I’ve been on tumblr for at least 10 years by now, though I can’t recall an exact date. My original blogs have since been deleted, but the oldest one I have left is still from 2013!

It’s never too late to start a tumblr blog! New people are joining every day. If you feel worried about learning the controls or culture of the site, I would love to help, if you want to make an account and message me (or if you have a discord to chat on)

previous tags: #it does feel weird that these books are being published now #when the Disney Fairies franchise died post Neverbeast marketing (so mid-2015) #like what’s Disney’s plan here? I don’t understand

The Never Girls series actually ran continuously from 2013-2020, starting with the first book “In a Blink” published January 8, 2013. The most recent NG book published before this graphic novel was “The Last Journey” on January 14, 2020. So it started before the DF franchise died down and continued on for years after.

I was actually surprised to see they’ve decided to revisit this and start publishing graphic novels, since it’s been 3 years since they finished the chapter book series…I have no idea either if it means anything for the future of the Disney Fairies line and if they have any plans to revitalize that. Because the Never Girls series was a spin-off that heavily featured the DF universe/lore/characters but was always separate from the main franchise and like I said—continued on its own for years after DF stopped producing new movies/books.

I really have no idea how their different franchises work and if the Never Girls series being active again means anything for Disney Fairies proper or if it’s really just its own little separate brand now. I wish there were sources that cared to talk about these less-popular titles and let us know what’s going on, because we miss DF!

I also wish they would produce more DF graphic novels (which shouldn’t be that hard, right? Because I know they’re already sitting on comics that were originally published in the magazines but not compiled into the graphic novels. Where are those, why can’t we have them all?? They don’t even have to hire anyone to make anything new, it’s already done….just give it to us.)

Since it was the second-most voted option on the poll (and the most voted was book illustrations which is simple enough)

What kind of lore from the books are you all interested in learning about most?

Jan 24th?! Well holy hell that's incredible timing 😂😂. Didn't plan that I promise! I'm sure you'll get them all answered some day 😂

The task is complete, happy 1 year anniversary to that anon who asked me my favorites of the Papercutz comics <3

And ty, I sure hope I do! All I have left are headcanon requests which require more creativity instead of just accessing my knowledge of the series, you know?

What are your favorite of the papercutz Tinkerbell comics?

The short answer is that the first 8 are my favorites because they’re the ones that feature the book characters and I think the art style is much cuter and more unique than the later ones based on the movie universe.

My favorites are #3, 5, 7 and 8. But I also think #10 and 14 are the best out of the later titles, they have the most original stories of the ones that aren’t just re-tellings of the movies!
