Ayumu Imazu、新曲「THRIFTED」MV公開　活動拠点のニューヨークで撮影したスタイリッシュな映像に

　Ayumu Imazuが、本日2月21日に配信リリースした新曲「THRIFTED」のMVを公開した。

　MVのディレクションは、「Obsessed」のMVも手掛けたPatrick Linehanが担当。Ayumuが活動の拠点にするニューヨークならではのシチュエーションをふんだんに活かし、美しい街並みや、楽曲テーマのTHRIFTED（古着）に紐づく古着屋（Thrift store）やランドリーなども登場。Patrickは撮影も担当しており、スタイリッシュな映像となっている。

　なおAyumu Imazuは、アメリカのシンガー MAXが開催しているアメリカ3大都市ツアーにサポートアクトとして参加中。また3月からは日本国内4大都市を巡るホールツアーの開催を控えている。

I love going thrifting and most of my clothes are thrifted.
I had this thought that thrifting is kind of similar to love. It's like passing on the love someone else gave you to a new person. It's not new—it’s love that's been worn, with scars and wrinkles. That’s what inspired me to write this song.

僕は古着が大好きで、私服のほとんどが古着なんですけど、買い物しながらふと、誰かが着ていた服をまた別の誰かが着るって、恋愛に似ているなと思いました。誰かに向けた愛が、別の誰かへと受け継がれていく。
それは新品じゃなくて、傷やシワのある、時間を重ねた愛。そんな考えからインスピレーションを受けて、この曲を書きました。
