Spacehacking: Cob/Straw Bale Master Suite

First build project for X will be a straw bale master suite with interior cob. This board will collect mostly cob inspo but will also feature organic shapes in other materials as visual touchstones. Will feature master bedroom, bathroom with showers, grotto bath, sauna, fireplace, also: dressing room, massage and spa areas. Style a mix of organic minimalism with touches of exotic.

This is beautiful work of Max Jensen a Danish natural builder. This is his bathroom at the PermaLot Centre of Natural Building [www.permalot.org] in the Czech Republic. The $150 bathroom uses natural clay, roundwood, stone and mosaics to bring a stunning mixture of textures, patterns, colour, warmth and light into the room and when you step out of this bath your toes are going to be warmed by a solar & wood heated floor.
