Made by Italian transforming furniture maker Clei, it looks like a simple cabinet you can put against the wall but the real purpose is revealed after opening the central flap door that becomes a self-supporting desk where you can work comfortably. Once the tasks are finished, the desk can be folded away, leaving behind a stylish element for interior design.

Light, airy, and sophisticated, this apartment renovation has a certain European je ne sais quoi. Playing up its Victorian roots, our team worked to restore the home's original character and added touches of Parisian charm.

I was so intimidated to start, but once I dragged home one stock cabinet, cut off the toe kick, and notched the top, I knew this solution to hide the metal desk legs was going to work.
