Winter Snowdrops bookmark - painted and stitched
A pretty winter bookmark featuring a landscape of snowdrops nesteled around a winter tree, painted and stitched onto fabric and backed with felt. Fabric paints were used to paint a basic meadows and sky landscape onto white fabric, allowing the adjacent areas of wet paint to merge and blend. The design was enhanced with some very simple embroidery featuring snowdrops. A fine sewing cotton has been used to blanket stitch around the edge of the bookmark which has been backed with a layer of felt. The bookmark has been completed by the addition of green ribbon tails. Length of embroidered panel - 15 cm approx. Total length - 20.5 cm approx. Please note: items from Lynwoodcrafts are intended for adults.
