Dr.mayank’s clinic

Dr. Mayank R. Bachkaniwala asked us to design a chic & modern dental clinic, which doesn’t give a vibe of the clinic, but at the same time which also serves the purpose of a dental clinic according to international standards. After a lot of discussion with the client & 3D models, we finalized a “Modern Indian” theme for the clinic. In order to make a dialogue between functionality & modernity, we dedicated the theme to natural wood coloured veneer, grey flooring & white paint. The clinic was highlighted with the ecstatic mural & a fancy reception table at the entrance, the tooth shaped door handles & tastefully choosing the colour of the dental chairs for the operatories. The design of the clinic is played in 3 major colours viz., grey, white & brown. Spatially the clinic is divided into patient waiting area, patient counseling area, sterilization area & 2 operatories. The major highlight of the operatories where the patients are going to spend most of their time, is the white & orange colour chosen for the chairs in each of the operatories respectively. The materiality of the clinic is simple, defining 2 main elements that make it up: the modern minimalist design & the mural in the waiting area based on the doctor’s philosophy that, “Dentistry is way more than just drill & fill and the mural signifies the importance of art in dentistry! Life’s all about being bold, living bold & in the end about smiling bold!” Design : rudhraksh designer
