A lovely white cotton antique Christening gown dated from mid to late 1800's Victorian era. Dress is light weight cotton with tuck pleats on bodice & around hemline. It is unlined and has lace on bodice & edge of sleeves. The waist is shirred & can be adjusted and there is a wide sash attached at front that ties at the back. The opening at the back has 5 very tiny ( 1/4" ) white buttons. It measures 19" around chest, 7 1/2" sleeve and 35" length.
