Perfect for preemies 👶

I’m often asked which teddies are best for premie baby keepsakes. Many of them are quite large, but I do have a handful in my portfolio that can be made using even the tiniest of clothes. 👶 Duck - 6/7 garments, 23cm/9”. Lamb - 8/9 garments, 23cm/9”. Guinea pig - 8/9 garments, 30cm/12" long, 19cm/7½" tall. Baby bear - 9/10 garments, 20cm/8" (standing 32cm/13"). He has jointed arms & legs & a sculpted face. Cow - 8/9 garments, 23cm/9”. Penguin - 7/8 garments, 26cm/10”. All the teddies can be weighted up to 1lbs, some of them up to 2lbs at no extra cost. If you don’t have quite enough baby clothes you can also send blankets, bedding, curtains or even maternity clothes. Now, isn’t that better than keeping all those gorgeous memories in a box in the {loft/cupboard/under the bed}

How many should I send?

A question I get asked a lot is how many clothes are needed for each keepsake. Well ... how many do you have? There really is something for any amount of clothes. Just one of Dad’s shirts? A cushion is perfect! You can preserve the collar and buttons, and even add a tie and cardigan! Grandma’s pinny? How about a tiny teddy, which just needs one item of clothing. Do you have a handful of baby’s first clothes? The teddies or patchwork cushions need between 5 and 9 little items of clothing. Have you collected a sack-full? Has it travelled with you through three house moves (not speaking from experience AT ALL!)? Quilts and quillows can use between 20 and 400 garments!
