Lamb pie 🥧 nothing beats a simple easy to make recipe on a winters day. Lamb shoulder with root vegetables - swede, onion,fennel, leeks and carrots. Browned off in a pan to create the rich gravy. Added port and red currant jelly add sweetness and balance. A few sprigs of Rosemary near the end of cooking for a fresh hit of herbs, thicken with cornflour and encase in suet pastry. Delicious!
