I definitely wouldn’t go back to my loose natural hair journey as this journey has been so beautiful, simple, fulfilling, and meaningful to me. @stylesbyelke started my Locs at @naturaltrendsetters hair salon. The method we used is the Comb Coil method. I asked for medium sized locs and she got all 81 locs right for me!! She did an amazing job and I’m truly grateful!! They came out perfect!! I knew that they would blossom in the way they needed too!! Before I started my locs, I was on my Natural Hair Journey for a little over 3 years, which is why I ended up starting my Locs with longer hair. I used to swim 3 times per week and I would shampoo my locs after every swim. There is a huge misconception about shampooing locs. Most of the people perpetuating these lies don't have locs themselves. Breaking off traditions is not easy. I have been a forerunner in the loc industry when it comes to Breaking traditions.
