I ragged the walls with smears of Chalk Paint® in Country Grey and Paris Grey. Spritzed with a water bottle and then ragged the mixture across the wall doing two foot sections at a time. But for the top coats you don’t need to let it fully dry but almost dried. The point of priming that edge is so that any areas prone to failing will infact become sealed with the same paint that’s underneath preventing any different shades being exposed on the finished surface.
