My 4 yr old Australian Shepard decided to start jumping the baby gate that she had used since she was a puppy. So we built a new 48 in. gate from two wall hangings that I purchased at hobby lobby and framed them in with pine boards, metal straps and bolts. I am going to paint the trim the same color as the laundry room once i decide on colors. I love it. Much nicer than the 30 dollar baby gate we had.
