You'll need 5 inch burlap, one and a half inch ribbon, one inch ribbon, floral wire and zip ties. You'll start with your five inch burlap and cut it to about 22 inches long. You're going to fold it like this and pinch it in the middle. Hold it and then secure it with a small zip tie. You can also use floral wire to secure it. Next you'll take the one and a half inch wired ribbon. It's important that it's wired. I measured the and it was about 46 inches or so but I cut a little bit of it off so it could be a little shorter than that too. This step is going to look a little confusing but it's really not. You'll just make an eight shape with the ribbon like this and hold it in the middle. Next, you're going to fold over the loops on each side and hold it in the middle and then I like to adjust it a little before securing it with the floral wire. You just want to make sure none of the loops are too big or small. You'll just wrap the floral wire around the middle and twist it to make it tight. Have the bow is secure in the middle, you're going to want to pull the tails through so they're at the bottom of the bow just like this. You may have to pull one through a loop. But the bow should look like this. This is going to be your second layer so you're going to use that existing floral wire to attach the one and a half inch ribbon to the five inch burlap. Now you'll just sit back to the side and take your one inch ribbon and repeat that same step. You're going to make an eight shape. Hold it in the middle and fold over both loops like this. Now you'll just adjust it and then take that floral wire to secure it in the middle. Again you're going to want to make sure none of the loops are too big or small. It's just easier to do it now instead of after the floral wire is wrapped around it because it will be a little tight. Again you're going to want to pull the tails to the bottom of the bow so it looks like this. Use that existing floral wire to attach it to the top of the other bows. Now just take some jute string and wrap it around the middle to cover up all that floral wire. Just like this. After you've wrapped it around a few times, just tie it in the back. Now, you'll cut the ends of the tails to make sure they're even in the right length and this is your finished product. I know it seems complicated but I hate making bows so if I'm doing it, it's not that bad. And this is the sign that I use the bow on.
