Songil on Instagram: "Top 3 scenic views in Japan 🤩 The views from the Amanohashidate chair lift ride are even more stunning in person! 📍Amanohashidate Viewland, Kyoto, Japan 💰 Chair lift / Monorail Prices (round trip, including admission to Viewland) - Adult ¥850 - Kids ¥450 Amanohashidate is known for having one of Japan's top 3 scenic views, and Amanohashidate Viewland is the perfect spot to take it all in. You can either take the chair lift or the monorail to the top. Both cost the same, but I definitely recommend the chair lift! It might feel a bit scary without a safety bar, but trust me, it's totally worth it! The ride down is even more breathtaking than you can imagine. #japan #visitkyoto #miyazu #amanohashidate #kyototrip #kyototravel #visitjapanjp #travelphotographer #天橋
Leslie Koh | Food & Travel on Instagram: "🏷 Save this for your next trip to Japan! This makes for a great souvenir as you can’t find this charm at any shrine; it was created by the Shibuya Tourism Association and the Tokyo Lottery Service. Featuring the iconic Shibuya Scramble Crossing on one side and the faithful dog Hachiko on the other, this charm symbolizes safety and good fortune. Despite half a million people using the scramble crossing every day, there have never been any accidents. Both companies hope this charm will keep its owners safe from all kinds of disasters, from traffic accidents to relationship troubles. You can get it at SHIBU HACHI BOX (シブハチボックス) just in front of the Hachiko Statue for ¥1,000 each. If you have a chance to visit Tokyo, be sure to check it out and b

I could literally rave about this place for hours. It’s an indoor entertainment center with several floors - each consisting of interactive games & even mini roller coasters! It’s located inside of a mall, but don’t let that confuse you on the size because this place is HUGE! The top floor is my favorite where they have several interactive rooms & mazes for you to explore. Including 1 that’s “The Ring” themed! They put you in a casket and you have to ‘escape’ - which is CRAZY! They have

Chee Wah, fomo foodie and traveller on Instagram: "The most extraordinary teamLab magic in the world – and it’s here in Japan✨ … teamLab: A Forest Where Gods Live is an extraordinary outdoor digital art immersion set in an ancient forest turned heritage park. This is the sprawling Mifuneyama Rakuen park in Takeo City, Saga prefecture on the island of Kyushu. … After sundown, the entire area looks like an enchanted forest. You’ll be walking through garden and jungle trails, stumbling across jaw-dropping, larger-than-life digital art installations hidden among trees and projected on mystical boulders and rock formations. There’s nothing quite like this anywhere else in the world – and it’s only here in this sleepy and largely forgotten onsen town in south Japan. … In this forest there’s als

Chiara on Instagram: "Unpopular opinion: Okinawa shopping >>> Tokyo *PLS PLS PLS get urself some abura miso, aka PORK LARD miso, which is an Okinawan specialty. it is the perfect sweet-salty-umami combo and is great paired with rice, or everything else. i fell in love at first taste. *thrifting is AMAZING in Okinawa. shops close really late, some even till 12am. prices start from 1500yen (S$12.50) for branded vintage leather bags, 300yen (S$2.50) for clothes, and only 100yen (S$0.85) for the prettiest porcelain cups and dishes. *i noticed souvenirs are more exp at donki, spam/orion t-shirts are cheaper at Okinawan select stores, but food products are cheaper in donki than even the supermarkets *ALWAYS BRING YOUR PASSPORTS because even the supermarkets are tax free ◡̈"
