In this paper apply interval type-2 fuzzy classifier and genetically tuned interval type-2 fuzzy ... more In this paper apply interval type-2 fuzzy classifier and genetically tuned interval type-2 fuzzy classifier for diagnostics of induction motor based on spectral analysis of stator current signal. This paper is presented an approach to tune fuzzy based fault diagnosis model of induction motor using Genetic Algorithm (GA). Interval type-2 fuzzy logic controller (IT2FLC) where the fuzzy parameters, e.g. fuzzy membership functions and fuzzy rule bases are tuned by genetic algorithm (GAs) known as genetic interval type-2 fuzzy system. With the help of Matlab Simulink and GUI based KQJJ-IMFD (Kulkarni Qureshi Jha Jogi-Induction Motor Fault Diagnosis) model developed for fault diagnosis of induction motor using FFT and soft computing i.e. interval type-2 fuzzy logic system with genetic algorithm. Motor current signature analysis (MCSA) detection method is used for fault diagnosis of induction motor. All results are simulated and analyzed.

This paper focused on the motor current signature analysis (MCSA) which utilizes the results of spectral analysis of the stator current. FFT is used for spectrum analysis and frequency of stator current observed for healthy and faulty induction motor. With the help of Matlab Simulink, KQJJ-IMFD model is developed for fault diagnosis of induction motor using FFT. KQJJ-IMFD model is new, simple, and understandable and detects various faults. In this paper various induction motor faults like voltage unbalance, rotor fault, and stator fault are simulated and detected with the help of current spectrum through FFT analysis on the stator current.

A novel design of CMOS dynamic latch comparator with dual input single output with the differenti... more A novel design of CMOS dynamic latch comparator with dual input single output with the differential amplifier stage is presented. The designed dynamic latch comparator is required for high-speed analog-to-digital converters to get faster signal conversion and to reduce the power dissipation, which is immune to noise than the previous works. The design and analysis of a latch comparator using charge sharing circuit topology is illustrated to achieve low power and high-speed operation. The proposed circuit is designed using 0.18μm CMOS process. The simulated results shows that 100 MHz clock frequency with the power supply voltage (VDD) 3.3V and input range 3.3V produce the desired output signal. The topology of the proposed design is able to minimize the propagation delay and power consumption with the improved performances than other research works.
Moreover, the different capacitor value and the transistor lengths produced the faster output, which is suitable for the successful operation of the ADC.

Model based, signal processing and soft computing are three basic types of fault monitoring techniques. Condition monitoring of induction motor is challenging task for engineers and researchers in industries. Maximum monitoring methods are expensive, they required sensors and specialized tools but a Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) or current monitoring technique is simple and cheaper for implementation. Main subject of this thesis is a current monitoring method that classifies the operating condition of an induction motor as healthy and faulty. Induction motor is highly symmetrical because it shows detectable signal component at the fault frequencies, frequency peak due to faults in induction motor. Current monitoring methods largely depend on signal processing techniques. It was observed that fault frequency occur in the motor current spectrums are unique for different motor faults. Fast Fourier transform algorithm (FFT) used in this research because FFT method is easy to implement. Frequency spectrum of line current becomes different from healthy induction motor when a fault is present.
Good analysis of a faulty induction motor even if accurate models or systems are unavailable then Soft computing techniques is used. Fault diagnosis of Induction Motor using hybrid FFT and soft computing techniques is proposed in this research work. In the proposed methodology a genetically tuned type-2 FFT fuzzy system and also Grey ANFIS are to be developed. One main advantages of fuzzy logic is that it enables qualitative domain knowledge about a classification task to be developed in the algorithmic structure. The results and outcomes of the above models will be analyzed and compared for useful study. The data acquired from the industrial, commercial sources and normalized for mapping in [0, 1] range is used to develop hybrid FFT and soft computing models. Extensive simulation results are presented in this thesis. The modeling of three-phase induction motor in three phase reference frame using MATLAB 14a simulink version 8.3 version software and designing an intelligent system for condition monitoring of the induction motor is proposed. KQJJ-IMFD model is proposed for fault diagnosis of induction motor. The summary, conclusions and contributions are summarized at the end of this thesis.
