As a dermatologist with hair loss myself, I know how frustrating it can be when you start to notice balding or hair thinning. Here are 3 minoxidil hacks that will help you get the most out of your hair growth routine. 1. Use a dermaroller a few times per week before you apply minoxidil. Dermarollers create these micro punctures in the scalp which allow minoxidil to absorb better. Make sure to sanitize your dermaroller with 70% Isopropryl alcohol before and after use, and look for a dermaroller with 0.25 to 0.5 mm needles. 2. Use “Men’s” Rogaine 5% foam, which is more powerful and less irritating than the 2% liquid. Apply it nightly and wash your face and do your skincare routine afterwards to avoid excess facial hair growth. 3. Massage minoxidil into your scalp for ~5 minutes after application. This may help stimulate blood flow & increase hair thickness. Thanks ladylatti for sharing your hair growth routine. #hairgrowthtips #hairthinning #rogaine #fyp | Dr. Neera

It’s best to speak to your dermatologist to determine the cause and best treatment options. In my case, my hair loss was triggered by pregnancy and due to telogen effluvium. There aren’t any FDA approved treatments for this type of hair loss, but this is what worked for me. Stitch with @skinwithinnz What has your experience been with postpartum? credit it to @meditatewithmal on tiktok for making this hair oiling tutorial! As for what oil you can use I would say like castor oil or rosemary oil for hair growth! But don't use 100% of it you should dilute it with another oil because rosemary and castor oils are strong and too much can be too bad. Thus, for thicker healthier hair, this must be in a routine, it can't be just a one time thing solution, so you should make it into a weekly or monthly habit!
