Gothic architecture

Gothic architecture was influenced by medieval castles and cathedrals which had many problems like it was always cold, damp and dark this was normal in the architecture of the medival period. The buildings were functional Gothic architecture made buildings beautiful and fancy. Seven characteristics of Gothic architecture are the pointed arch, tall designs, flying buttress, vaulted ceiling, light airy interiors, gargoyles and decorative and ornate.
