Pair Of Oak Armchairs With Historical White Paint By Charles Dudouyt C1940
A handsome pair of oak armchairs by artist and designer Charles Dudouyt (1885 - 1946) from France, C1940. They have been historically painted off-white which now shows age and wear, making them all the more distinct and pleasing. The chairs are generously proportioned and supremely comfortable with their straw seats in very good condition. Artist and designer, Dudouyt founded his first furniture factory in 1920, working in the traditional French rustic style. Following a move to Paris, he set up a factory there in 1933 which saw his designs focused on strong Art Deco forms, pairing playful geometrics with an absolute attention to the craft and construction of each piece. Comfortable Pair French Bergere Chairs
A really comfortable Pair of French Bergere Arm Chairs. The frames made from walnut with nice carved decoration, they are strong and sturdy. The upholstery is in usable original condition, there is one hole on cushion side and the arms are a little worn but the internal upholstery is excellent and we presume you would wish to recover in your own fabric. With great classical detailing and patina, one with traces of original silvered paint, the other with rich brown corrosion, these would be wonderful for interior deco, alone or grouped with similar items. They are not watertight at the base, so advisable to use wit dry foliage if needed. The small height of 22cm makes them versatile for shelving, tables, or fireplace.

Painted Pair Of Victorian Pine Bedside Cabinets
A lovely pair of Victorian pine bedside cabinets c.1880 on bun feet, painted in Little Greene Paint Co 'French Grey' and given a gently weathered finish. Each has a single drawer above a cupboard with panelled doors, either side of which are carved fluting and acanthus leaves. Understated but decorative, they're a genuine pair with doors opening in opposite directions.

2 lightweight occasional chairs in faux bamboo style. The left side chair has been sprayed in a matt gold coloured paint and has a blue velvet style upholstered seat. The right chair is a mid-brown colour and is upholstered in a burgundy chenille fabric. Both chairs are comfortable and sturdy.
