Help! My students won't listen!
Having trouble with students following your directions? 🤯 This is about so much more than just “getting kids to listen." When we are consistent with routines, procedures and follow through it builds trust and carries over into other areas. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - when it’s related to what happened, consequence is NOT a bad word. 🙅‍♀️ For example, if kids know you mean it with a consequence, they are also going to believe you when you say you will help them solve a problem or an issue they are having. They have learned that you say what you mean and mean what you say. ❤️
