"This is a hand forged fire poker with a black, heat-resistant finish. Now offering three length options on this poker! Choose between the standard 28\" option, 34\", or 46\" (overall length may vary an inch or two). The log turner/barb is a separate piece of 3/8 inch steel, hand forged and then welded on to the main bar in order to have the proper heft and strength for the task. This design allows for the classic look while also making it functional and tough enough to actually turn logs. That

Hand forged firewoood holder.

Hand forged firewood rack for indoor use. We call it "sleigh style". Our wood holder is forged from scratch using power hammer, handheld hammer, anvil and extra person. All put together traditionally with rivets. Overall height is around 33". Fits logs that are 15" long and is 22" deep including the handy tool hooks in the front. It is finished with wax so it is not recommended for outdoor use. All the individual pieces are hammered, upset, drawn out, punched through just like the traditional blacksmiths used to do. Andrew made this test piece for his home and even though it is simple, it is a very decorative element next to the woodstove. Tools are not included. Wood is not included either.
