What I love about this recipe is I can throw it together right after work. It's so quick and easy. No pre cooking needed. I have my sauce here. I'm just going to submerge my pan and cover it in that sauce and then taking my dried uncooked noodles here. I'm just going to squeeze my ricotta mixture all along the base here and sandwich these noodles together. Layering them into my sauce here going in stages like steps and then the bottom is nice and soaked up that sauce. Now, I'm going to cover the top with the rest of my sauce to ensure that these top noodles are completely covered and that that moisture is going to cook these noodles to perfection. I'm just going to top it with some mozzarella cheese and then head off to the onion oven. Bake this up for about 45 minutes until the noodles are cooked and you have a nice crusty cheese top just like this.
