I scour artisan markets and antique shops for vintage lace that I repurpose into these beautiful junk journals. After washing the lace, I hand dye it with natural dyes such as tea, coffee, and beet juice. I then bind the pages, and decorate them with vintage objects such as rhinestones or fabric flowers. It takes me many hours to make each journal.
