I promise to get you some new content soon! Here’s another free resource for you! I used this with my kinder students who were having a hard time with blending sounds on their own to read words. At that point, they knew all the letters and their most common sounds. They were becoming more proficient at phoneme segmenting but still needed lots of practice with it. Decoding (blending sounds) was much more difficult. I used this as a scaffold. This activity gave them opportunities to practice phoneme segmenting and then matching sound to symbol and also using that to help them to then decode words. It was harder for them than I expec
