Bye Bye rusty red undertones
Video credit: shellychicboutique Details HERE⤵️ It was love at first sight when I chanced upon these rattan end tables. My DIY BFF Deb @vintagefurniturefinds recently refinished an identical table in a gorgeous beige paint wash so I already had a glimpse into their future. After stripping the outdated dark finish, I did a light wash and then a darker wash, and voila! If you need the steps or supplies, comment “tables” and I’ll send it to you. #refinishedfurniture #oldtonewfurniture #furnituremakeover

Save these “how to” instructions!😊 Here are the steps we took to create this look that you’ll want to save: •Clean piece well •Repair any damage and give it a good scuff sand •Paint legs and skirt black. We used @fusionmineralpaint •Paint table top creamy white •Brush on glaze with a chip brush then go over the wet glaze with a broom to create the faux wood texture. Keep brush strokes straight and going in the direction of the natural wood grain. We alternated between the broom and chip brush to create the right look. The glaze takes a bit to dry so you have time to work it and get it right. •Let dry and add polyurethane to entire piece for protection Comment “stuff” for a list of all the products we used for this table. | Sheila & Janelle (DIY Furniture Refinishing•Teaching•Home Decor) | Giulio Cercato · Be Creative
