The spread of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is one that involves not only the question on whether Robert Koch's Postulate still stands true as a proponent of microbial pathology but also the possible mechanisms behind the conditions of patients with AIDS. With these questions in mind, numerous lives have been dependent on testing existing theories which also affects not only the field of microbiology but also the community, more specifically, the members of the LGBTQ+ who faces continuous discrimination with the said disease.

The aim of this meta-syntheses is to integrate existing studies and reports and consolidate them to provide a conceptual connection with emphasis on recent local calamities. Different published reports and studies are analyzed and possible congruence between them is determined. Results of the synthesis revealed that a) Water Sources in the country are affected by the increasing intensity of both El Niño and La Niña seasons, b) This affects water for agriculture, inflating prices and contributing to malnutrition, c) Prevalence of mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue and rodent-borne such as leptospirosis are the consequences of intense weather patterns, and d) Philippines is severely affected by costal-based calamities such as flashflood brought by global warming. All of these are brought by the climate change phenomenon to the Philippines.

The samples were then put into biodegradability to see its potential impact on the environment when put into soil burial or compost conditions. The Weight % Loss of each sample were used as basis of biodegradation and t-test was used to test the results between bioplastics based on corns starch vs. banana peel. The results revealed that banana peel, degrades rapidly between 22.22% up to 74.47% of its mass within 15 days, especially when no anti-microbial agent is introduced into the bioplastic. Furthermore, corn starch-based bioplastic was discovered to reveal consistent Weight % Loss with recent studies to which Weight % Loss was at 48.39%.

The study is comparative in nature. It was revealed that whether a student is an athlete or not, participating in the school varsity team or being a student-athlete has no necessary effect on a student’s academic performance. Moreover, it was also observed that student-athletes have a significantly higher self- esteem and that student-athletes tend to be more confident on participating and reciting in class discussions.

Secondly the purpose of this module is to relate Geometric Sequences / Progressions to the real- life, millennial situations and current trends. This (module) also wants to enhance the critical thinking skills of the students. 2048: A Game of Geometric Progressions; Module in Mathematics about Geometric Sequences was inspired of a sliding block puzzle game which was developed by Gabriele Cirulli. To play this game, you will need to drag the blocks until you finally form tiles with the number 2048. Why 2048? In this puzzle game, our topic, Geometric sequences / Progressions is present. Here, the act of multiplying the numbers with a constant digit which is two is just like the common ratio in our topic.
