Now I hate to be negative on this app, but there isnโt enough discussion about how on the latest episode of D20 on a bus, Brennan was quite frankly a problem player.
When a DM says โairโ and asks you to โponder thatโ, I think bombarding the DM with questions about โcontextโ and โwhere is the airโ is the mark of an adversarial player. When Katie said air, I personally shed a tear whilst pondering. The questions from Brennan were straight up not OK, and it really speaks to his character.
Honestly, thatโs why I fully heartedly believe that at the end of the game, the four other DMs exiled him from the DnD community. Then Sam had no choice to fire him because without DnD being Brennanโs thing, then there was no more use for him at Dropout. He only said โno bad bloodโ, but Iโm too well versed in YouTube apologies to know that there is always bad blood.
Now I know no one in the space is brave enough to comment on this, but just know we hear the confirmation in their silence, and it is resounding. Wake up, people.
two knights fucking yah just really going at it CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG ya know
I know what I'm doing
The Seven is so beautiful to watch (including the adventuring party) because itโs so girlhood. The ride or die energy that is a real female friendship is so nice to see after growing up watching men-written stories show these beautiful bonds as bitchy, passive-aggressive rivalries.
Like the immediate reaction to being told theyโre being forced to disband the party is โno 3>โ, โexcuse me?โ, โI cast hunters mark on himโ
I know that the women in my life would literally kill for me, as I would for them. Stop portraying female friendships as enemies with smiles painted in lipstick on them, we love hard.
๐Presenting the BRAND-NEW season - Dimension 20: On a Bus!
DM'd by Katie Marovitch, and as players: Aabria Iyengar, Brennan Lee Mulligan, Jasmine Bhullar, and Mark Mercer!
Hey friends!
Just wanted to thank everyone for being so lovely and supportive of D20: On a Bus!
It was a bit of a rocky shoot, but Iโm really proud of the story we told! Iโve wanted to play with Jasmine, Brennan and Mark for SO LONG and itโs so lovely that I got to do so at Katieโs table. ๐
So hereโs the thing: the first season (30 episodes! Can you believe it?!) is in the can, but speaking for myself I *know* the story of my character Blueyโข๏ธ and their friends getting from NoHo to LAX is far from over. And thatโs where you come in:
If yโall help us prove to Sam that thereโs audience excitement for the sequel, we can start filming TODAY.
So please like, share, repost, and tell your friends so we can get back ON A BUS!
For @quiddie
I donโt do poetry but uhโฆ this wouldnโt let me sleep until it existed.
In honor of Little Hat and the Blue m&m.
We always knew
How this would end
We burned so slow
You were my friend
We sang our songs
You joined the band
We rode the bus
We took a stand
We fought our wars
And took our time
Collapsed on floors
While drinking wine
Our shoulders close
Our hands just brushed
We feared the most
The words we hushed
Caught in our throats
Heart beats in time
An echo here
These words that rhyme
โI love you dear,
Will you be mine?โ
Collapsing now
Your lips on mine
The bus is gone
We rolled a six
Tragedy struck
Blue M&M
Between the lips
Beneath the teeth
Beyond the tongue
A hat alone
A man undone.
I think Iโm going to get โthe bus is gone / we rolled a sixโ as a tattoo to commemorate this character and this story. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your poetry ๐

People really hate thinking huh
Illiteracy is becoming rampant. Reminds me of the fact that a lot of children aren't taught how to sound out letters and are instead taught whole words from the beginning. They memorize it like it's a hieroglyphic instead of learning how to actually read and then picking up more advanced tricks on top of that foundational skill.
- George Orwell, 1984
New favorite season of d20 is On a bus. The cinematography, the battle sets, the character arcs. Just...a masterpiece
Aguefort would HAVE to be a boarding school right?!
Elmville isn't that big of a town and it already has a SECOND high school pretty close by. Surely one small town doesn't have a big enough population to support a school full of adventurers AND a second one full of mumples.
but also the potential of 'and they were roommates'
And that has me thinking, alternate universe now where it's solely a boarding school and all of the bad kids coming from all over spyre. Like fabian, from leviathan and uh, fig from the bottom pit, then you have adaine from fallinel Kristen from a small farming community riz from chaos mountains and gorgug from another small gnome town they all get put in the same dorm.
Would they all have their own rooms or would they have a roommate?
And if so, would it be co-ed or would two of them be rooming with someone out of their party?
I feel like it would be co-ed boarding, but they'd have to pair rooming partners by species compatibility. So like, trying not to room species with incompatible needs together, but otherwise size diffs would be fine, like Riz with a tiny bunk over Fabian's bottom double-size bunk would be so good (You KNOW Fabian would bitch about having to share despite being rich, and manage to just get as big of a bed as possible). Although Riz would just make a whole apartment up on that top bunk if it was all the same size. Gorgug would have to room with someone capable of dealing with him raging in his sleep, so like, probably Fig. Adaine and Kristen could bunk just fine but only if they have separate beds either side of the room, you know Kristen is sleeping like a rotisserie chicken and Adaine can just enchant a canopy over her bed to keep the noise out while she trances. (She still doesn't appreciate Kristen bringing Tracker to their room while she's there).
Riz and Fabian being roommates is perfect. Riz already immediately attached himself to him in canon. Imagine him doing that upon meeting in their assigned room?
Fabian picked the room with the biggest bed and thought no one else was in there but Riz had already moved in and he just has so little stuff, and Fabian is like 'Ugh. FINE. guess I can deal with a room mate if theyre small and minimalist.
but the moment he sets up his corkboard where Fabian wants to put his computer, the bickering starts XD
It's giving Elphaba and Glinda during 'What is this Feeling?'. Riz would absolutely describe Fabian as 'Blonde.' in a letter back home to Sklonda.
Also the heightened drama of Fig growing up in Slyvaire, so close to the Nightmare Forest and in community of Wood Elves that have a particular dislike of Devils and Demons. After her horns come in, Sandra Lynn enrolls her at Aguefort so that she can have a new start in a place that only knows her as a Tiefling.
a story of many parts followed by tragedy lmao
