Flag of Israel

The flag of Israel (Hebrew: דֶּגֶל יִשְׂרָאֵל, romanized: De̞ḡe̞l Yiś•rāʾēl / Degel Yisrāʾel (Degel Israel), lit. 'Banner of Israel', Arabic: عَلَم إِسْرَائِيل, romanized: ʿAlam ʾIsrāʾīl / ʿAlam Isra`il, lit. 'Flag of Israel') has a Blue Star of David between two horizontal blue stripes on a white field.

Significance

The two Horizontal stripes on the white field are said to symbolize two rivers, Euphrates and Nile or Jordan River and Mediterranean, which are said to be the maritime boundaries of the Land of Israel, while the Hexagram has two interlocked triangles, where one faces up and one faces down, which means two Deltas of "David (Hebrew: דּוִד, romanized: Dāwîḏ/Dāvid.., lit. 'Dude')", which adds to 14, Double 7, equal to the Gematria of words “Gold (Hebrew: זָהָב, romanized: Zāhâba (Zahav), lit. 'Yellow')..”, “Hand (Hebrew: יָד, romanized: Yâḏ/Jod, lit. 'Yad/Fisted hand')”, “It is Enough (Hebrew: די, romanized: Dây/Daj, lit. 'Enough')” and others.

14 is the small value of 77.0, which is the simple Gematria of words “Judahite”, “Judaism”, “Hexagram”, “Troy/Trojan”, “Hispania”, “Christ” and “Germans” among others.

Criticism

The Flag of Israel has received criticism from PLO and Hamas, who claim that Israel wants to occupy Israel and Palestina, Hashemite Kingdom (Jordan), Cyprus, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt/Saudi Arabia.

But it is not just that, Judaism's criticism of the Israeli flag comes due to Orthodox segments, who believe that the Israeli flag has a magic spell on Synagogues and it's a foolish object, while other segments believe that the Hexagram is not unique to Judaism, but idolatrous.

Criticism of the Flag of Israel comes from Palestinian-Israelis, whose High Follow-up Committee for Arab Citizens of Israel claimed that the national symbols of Israel represent Jewish Nationalism.
