Proposed Move.

Hey guys. I was just thinking about moving this page to Saint Nicholas, which is his more common name I think. This move would include deleting the Saint Nicholas page, and then moving this these. Any thoughts?--Gordonrox24 | Talk 13:34, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The problem with that is that there are at least three other official saints named Nicholas:
  • N. of Flüe,1417-71; Swiss monk
  • N. The Duc Bui (died between 1626 and 1886; canonized in 1988)
  • Ivan Dimitrovich Kasatkin, known as N. of Japan, 1836-1912
In addition, the Russian Orthodox Church sees Nicholas II of Russia, known as N. the Passion-Bearer, killed 1918, as a saint. So, "Saint Nicholas" would probably be a bad place to move this to. --Eptalon (talk) 16:55, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Good eyes. Yep, better to just leave it here.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 21:13, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
