The main two people in the election were Cory Gardner (Republican Party) and John Hickenlooper (Democratic Party). Hickenlooper won the election and became Senator. Gardner was Senator before the election.[1]

Primary elections happened on June 30, 2020.[2][3] In the Republican Party primary, nobody went against Cory Gardner. There were two people in the Democratic Party primary election: John Hickenlooper and Andrew Romanoff. Hickenlooper won this primary. There was also a primary for the Libertarian Party between Raymon Doane and Gaylon Kent. Doane won this primary.
