680K views · 10K reactions | It might look harsh but trimming back excess strawberry foliage at this time of year will improve your crop for next year. This was the first job i ever did when i stated at RHS Wisley in their fruit department over quarter of a century ago..one hot august day. Trim back strawberry foliage to expose the crown to sunlight. Just leave a few young leaves near the crown of the strawberry plant. Between now and autumn is when strawberry plants are deciding how many flowers and fruit they will produce next summer. This depends on how much sun they receive at this time of year. If strawberry plants are in dense shade now and covered in excess foliage then they won’t fruit much next year. With regards to the health benefits of strawberry leaf tea, I’m not a doctor (obviously, I’m a gardener) so do your own research or consult with medical experts if you are unsure if you have any medical conditions and how alliments should be treated. However, it is said by many that strawberry leaf tea is generally good for you and can be a healthy drink with many health benefits. #Growyourgroceries #gardeningtips #growstrawberries #gardening | Simon Akeroyd Garden Writer
1.2M views · 40K reactions | We love a plant that earns its keep! 🪰🪴 These fascinating carnivorous plants have sticky leaves that catch and digest fungus gnats, protecting your other houseplants from these annoying pests. Not only do they help keep your plant area pest-free, but they’re also incredibly low maintenance! I keep mine in a mixture of sphagnum moss, coco coir, and perlite. Do you have a butterwort? Would you add one to your collection? ✨ #houseplants #pestprevention #fungusgnats #houseplantcare #pinguicula #butterwort #planttips #crazyplantlady | Easy Growing

3.4K views · 64K reactions | She rooted 🌿 Isn’t she cute? It’s the small simple things made beautiful… This a follow up reel to the one I posted a couple weeks where I started rooting this rosemary (from a grocery store herb pack) cutting in water, I wanted to show it does in fact work. Our nurseries aren’t offering plants yet, except pansies, it’s still too early. So this is scratching that itch for fresh potted herbs. Maybe I’ll do some basil next. #gardencraft #kitchenherbalism #kitchenherbs #herbalist #freshherbs #homesteadlife #naturecrafts #gardening #simplehomestyle #slowlivingforlife | The Wild Apothecary

632K views · 60K reactions | Or comment “let’s hang out!” And I’ll DM you where to find both!! I personally love the double curtain rods, because I don’t have to deal with fighting to close the curtains. Both of them have their own rod! The laundry hangers went crazy viral last time I shared them and you guys love them as much as I do! They’re perfect for awkward windows and the pivoting function comes it handy every time! They do go out of stock fast so I have a lot of similar backup options linked as well! Hope this helps my plant lovers and fronds!
