Deets below of how I made it!👇🏼 . . I took a 12 inch foam cone and wrapped in clear wrap. Cut tooth picks in half and stuck one end in the end of a petit or dill pickle and layered by rows. I used a dill pickle chip and took a star cutter to make the star. This recipe is a hit every time I make it, it’s made with sour cream & pepper jack cheese, giving it that delicious thick & smooth texture of Queso you’ll find at the store. RECIPE⬇️ 1 jalapeño- seeded & finely chopped 1/4C. red onion- finely chopped 2Tbsp. butter 1 3/4C. heavy cream 1Tbsp. corn starch 3/4tsp. salt 1/8tsp. pepper 1/4tsp. cumin 1/2tsp. onion powder 1/2tsp. garlic powder 1C. sour cream 1- 8oz- block of pepper jack cheese- shredded In a bowl wish together the cream, salt, pepper, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder & cornstarch, set aside. I’ve made it using fig or raspberry jam and even cranberry relish at the holidays. I’ve used gruyere, goat or mozzarella. Switch out the pears for apples and use thyme instead of rosemary. You really can’t go wrong with any combination! Serve this as an appetizer or slip it to serve over a salad. Daily Recipes on Instagram: "CRANBERRY PECAN CHEESE LOG | Serves 6 by @dontgobaconmyheart_ INGREDIENTS 250g / 9oz full fat Cream Cheese 150g / 5.3oz Dried Cranberries, roughly diced 125g / 4.4oz Pecans, roughly diced 100g / 3.5oz Mature/Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated 1/4 cup / 4 tbsp finely diced Chives METHOD 1️⃣In a small mixing bowl combine diced pecans, cranberries and chives. 2️⃣In a large mixing bowl add cream cheese & cheddar, then use a spatula to combine with HALF of the pecan mix (save the rest to coat the outside). 3️⃣Add the mix to a large sheet of cling film and mould into a log shape, using the cling film to tightly contain it (see video for guidance).
