But it made me wonder - what would I do if it actually got lost while traveling? ✈️ Losing a passport is scary, and I hope it never happens to you, but if it does, here’s what to do: 1. File a police report with local authorities immediately. For insurance purposes, this needs to be done within 24 hours. 2. Contact your embassy. They can help you get a replacement or an emergency travel document. 3. Always have multiple forms of ID with you since you’ll need them to apply for the emergency document. 4. Be prepared by carrying extra passport photos and a list of emergency contacts. How to avoid this (as much as you can)

How incredible, if you think this was built in the 2nd century AD. That was the time when Rome reached its maximum expansion, with over 1 million inhabitants only in the city! 🔸 What were those shops selling? We don’t know exactly. If these shops were selling goods we’d expect to find big ramps for the carriages to bring these goods. 🔸 But Trajan’s Market has lots of narrow staircases and no ramps were found. The corridor takes about 45 minutes and is timed entry with maximum 25 people at a time.
