Bake each cake in an 8” round cake pan! CAKE LAYERS: (get a cup aprox 3-4 inches wide for cutting small circles) (I used a wire cake slicer to make slicing the layers easy) - cut both red cakes in half so you have two skinny 8” circles! You only need 3 pieces of red so you will have an extra. Cut one of those 3 with the cup to have a small circle. - cut the white cake in half. Leave one full slab and use a cup to cut the center out of one making a small circle. - don’t half blue! Just leave whole and use the cup to cut the center out! LAYER: -red half cake slice -frosting -white half cake slice -frosting -red half cake slice -frosting -blue full cake with hole cut out -slide white small circle piece in the big blue hole -frost the top of the white -red small circle -frost the whole cake! Add whatever decorations on the outside! Buttercream frosting recipe: -1 c softened butter -6 cups powdered sugar -1/2c heavy whipping cream -2 tsp vanilla extract Whip together!
