I have learned that black and white is best for babies as it helps their cognitive development and acknowledgement of shapes before overloading them with all those colors that they can not distinguish anyways. Plus it makes for a great gender neutral room with many different cute quotes like, "you make me happy when skies are grey" or "you bring the color to my world" and so many more!
