1 lb ground meat 2 tbls oil 1 tbls butter 1 large white onion chopped 2 large cloves garlic minced 2 tbls blue cornmeal 2-3 cups chopped roasted green chile 5 cups chicken stock 1 tsp garlic powder Salt and pepper to taste 4 small potatoes, diced 1/2 large tomato, chopped Brown meat in oil and butter. Add onions and garlic, cook for 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle all with blue cornmeal, stir, then add green chile, garlic powder, salt and pepper, stock, potatoes and tomato. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered until potatoes are cooked and flavors have blended.
