My Cats

I’ve had just 2 cats in my life, but one or the other was with me for 20 years. Both of them were black. Samantha, the elder cat, was a 1982 model and died in 2001 at age 19. I adopted her in 1988, when she was 6 years old. Tabitha, the younger one, was a 1989 model who I adopted as a kitten, and she died in 2010 at age 21. I could easily tell them apart. Sam was heavier and had green eyes, while Tabitha was slightly more petite and had yellow eyes. Sam liked people better than she liked cats while Tab preferred cats. Tab groomed Sam and Sam generally tolerated this but did not reciprocate. I loved them equally.
