Miyagawa Mandarin Oranges
Miyagawa mandarins are large for a typical mandarin. They grow on small-statured trees in clusters of multiple fruits. Miyagawa mandarinans are globular and slightly flattened at the stem and opposite ends, measuring 6 to 7 centimeters in diameter. They have a smooth golden orange, easy to peel rind (though in cooler temperatures, the rind may still be quite green). It is relatively thin, and loosely hugs the pulp. Miyagawa mandarins are seedless and each segment separates easily from the other.
